As I walked down the spiraling stairs towards the deep unknown, an elevator suddenly materialized on my right, hovering with no visible means of support. "Hm?", I contemplated, torn between the curiosities of both worlds. Take the stairs? Take the elevator? Five, ten, fifteen minutes passed, and wretching myself away from the stupor of dilemma, I stepped into the elevator, but instead of meeting solid ground, I found myself in a long glass corridor, several thousand feet under the ocean, with a damp and eerie glow emanating from the occasional lantern. "Hello. How are you?"

And here I find myself updating my journal...well well.
